40 days & then some

In this Lenten Season –
would we walk – trembling – aware of our finitude but ever more aware of an infinite God
so that we would truly proclaim that He is enough
always enough
I wrote an article for my school newspaper about the Lenten season last year (http://www.bagpipeonline.com/opinions-1/2016/2/…/a-holy-lent)

but as Lent begins –
consider the humble way of Jesus
and strive to be more like Him in these 40 days and beyond
ever so hospitable
ever so forgiving
ever so merciful
who did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross

in this season we have a heightened awareness of our finitude
we linger in dark, gloomy, and [seemingly] hopeless Fridays, but we know that Sunday is coming and eternal resurrection is coming
